Ex-Offender Mentor

Description
SET Family Medical Clinics' Comprehensive Healthcare Re-entry Program (CHRP) is seeking individuals with backgrounds in employment readiness, victim awareness, housing authority, parenting skills, self-advocating and life skills training to facilitate mentoring groups with individuals released from prison or parole violators sentenced to a half-way house in El Paso County.
The interested individual will also have access to these individuals to facilitate workshops or group activities to assist them in their transition to the community or assist in recidivism by addressing the needs of the offenders to successfully refrain from criminal activity.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following: employment readiness, life skills, local housing
- Team leader and knowledge of leading group discussions
