Errand Driver for Seniors

Description
Community Assistance and Resources for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities, needs volunteers to help seniors maintain their independence after the car keys have been taken away. Volunteers allow clients to maintain their independence by providing transportation to the grocery store, pharmacy, bank, or superstores that combine all three in one location. Not only do these volunteers provide access to food, medication, and paying the bills they also drastically improve the quality of life of clients who would otherwise
Volunteers are asked to commit to providing transportation to one or more of these destinations twice a month at a time that is convenient to both the volunteer and the client.
Requirements
Volunteers must complete an interview/orientation, have a clean criminal history check, a valid Driver?s License, automobile insurance, a clean driving record, patience, and a desire to help seniors.
