Description

Direct Care Staff supervise, mentor, and care for teens in a group home setting. Duties include supervising and organizing activities, supervising chores, resolving conflicts, encouraging growth, discipline, and mentoring.

We are a 24 hour a day facility. Shifts are available at all hours.

Requirements:
18 years of age, High School Diploma or equivalent, able to pass thorough background check, desire to serve "at-risk" youth.

This is a tough job... we deal with hurt teenagers who project that pain and anger onto others. These are hurt teens that need us to see beyond their issues. DCTD staff must have tough skin and ability to love those who may not love you back.

Volunteer Missionaries - $2500 covers room and board for one year.

For those interested in DCTD Internships (intense 1-2 year training that would qualify and equip you to work professionally in group homes, youth ministry, and/or chaplaincy) - approx. $8000
