Description
We need project managers, with community development training or experience, for the following projects in Kenya:
1. Women's vocational training center
2. School orphanage
The project manager will be responsible for all phases of these projects and must be able to work with and develop the local leaders in Kenya who will manage the project locally. The project manager can work virtually from home but must be able to travel two times per year to Kenya. The project manager will work with the local leaders to develop all aspects of these projects from facility, to trainers, to curriculum, to fundraising. The project manager is free to raise his/her own support if income is required.
Requirements
Project managers must have experience and/or training in community development and in managing projects that involve numerous aspects. They must have cross-cultural sensitivity and experience cross-culturally is preferred. They must have excellent people skills and reflect integrity and a mature character.
