Description

HereÂ?s Life Inner City is a national compassion care ministry located in 16 cities across the United States.
We are seeking a technical writer who will join our team and assist with developing end-user documentation for CityLink, our national database of over 1,500 ministry partners.
The incumbent will design and prepare instructions and manuals for users, develop training materials and presentations to teach staff to use the software, and assist with other related post-installation management issues.
Individual will work with software developers, city ministry directors, national office staff and local end-users.

Requirements

Strong computer skills and knowledge of a variety of Windows-based programs. Familiarity with user analysis, technical product adaption, desktop publishing, and grammatical and stylistic issues. Ability to interpret discussions, analyze situations, structure solutions, and graphically present information is needed.

Availability

It is expected that the development will extend over three to four months (~5 hours a week). The individual will be based at our New York office. Hours are flexible and much of the effort can be conducted from home.
