Description

NetWorks is a charity working in Romania with young people and families living in extreme poverty.

We are looking for someone with computing skills to join us full-time to take on responsibility for developing computer clubs, maintaining our office systems and networks and supporting a bunch of non-techies.

This is an increasingly important part of the ministry here. Basic technical knowledge in this field, together with a desire to work with children and young people is required. The role would include the day-to-day support and maintenance of the computer networks in our computer clubs and offices, liaising with sponsors and donors interested in this aspect of the ministry, implementing upgrades and systems development and in general, helping a lot of non-techie people keep their computers running.

The day-to-day running of the computer clubs would include updating and installing gaming software, supervising the club during program hours and building relationships with the children, young people and families who utilize these facilities.
