Description

Junior Achievement of Northwestern Ohio purpose is to inspire and prepare k-12 students in Northwest Ohio to succeed in a global economy. Students learn about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. Junior Achievement classroom volunteers serve as instructors in k-12 classrooms presenting structured curriculum developed by Junior Achievement. Volunteers compliment the curriculum by sharing their personal and employment experiences with the students. JA provides training for all volunteers before entering into the classroom. The time commitment varies 30-60 minutes once a week for 5-7 weeks.
