Description

Take the kettle challenge!

We need your help! The Red Kettle has been part of The Salvation Army's tradition since 1891. Today, kettles are part of The Salvation Army's efforts to raise funds so critical to our on-going operations.

Our kettle stands are "manned" Monday thru Saturday from early November until December 24th. Only a four hour time commitment is required and flexible hours make bell-ringing ideal for volunteers with tight schedules and families who want to share the kettle experience and help the needy.

There will be many kettle locations throughout New Jersey, one of which I am sure will be convenient for you.

The Salvation Army has served New Jersey residents since 1880. Over the years, we have responded to the spiritual and physical needs of the community and used our knowledge for providing cost-effective services - giving the most for its charitable dollar to help those facing hard times. Over a century later, we are still waging the battle. The need is still there, and your support will make a difference in the lives of people for years to come.
