Description

Development for Change, are looking for new board members; bringing adult foster care, chemical dependency support into more effective methods of recovery.

The focus is transitional, or permanent housing; faith based recovery services; for young adults that have chemical addictions. We are seeking business developer, strategic planner, that have passion for helping others with substance abuse, and mental illness.

A Little Bit about Us: Development for Change, Inc. is in its early stages of development, incorporated on July 9, 2010.

Mission

Promoting personal growth and positive life changes through motivation, education, and self-empowerment for distressed and addicted Hennepin County residents.

Because of an increase in addiction rates and demand for counseling programs and high school dropout, and drug abuse rates, DFC's community outreach established its program in Dakota County Minnesota.

Development for Change's vision is to bring opportunities for its recovery addiction services group home, With residential housing and alternative recovery support, Non 12 step approach to recovery through education and personal development; Ex- offender jobs and training entrepreneurship program gives young men chance to rebuild their lives while re-entering communities as new productive people.


What it means to be a Development for Change Board Member: DFC is currently seeking enthusiastic, committed and service oriented individuals to serve on the Board of Directors.


Recruiting qualified financial management, Fund raising campaings, Ensure and nurture adequate human and financial resources. Monitor Organizational programs and financial activity
