Assistant to the Principal

Description
Our exciting educational institute has an opportunity for full-time/part-time Assistant Office Managers with multi-faceted skills to direct the functions in our schools. Ideally the successful applicant will have 2+ years of managing a team in an office/school environment.
• Assisting the full time staff with completing projects
• Create and maintain student folders
• Assist with collection, copying, mailing and filing of required paperwork
• Responsible for collecting and reviewing bi-weekly volunteer timesheets
• Support with training needs (setting them up, making packets, etc.)
• Answer phones
• Assist and follow up with immediate day to day activities
• Ordering supplies
• Assisting with the recruitment of students
• Confirming appointments for Principal
• Assist with contacting tutors, teachers and parents to address issues/concerns
• Create and maintain student folders
• Assist with collection, copying, mailing and filing of required paperwork
Requirements
• Candidate MUST be fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Management experience
• Ability to handle time efficiently and effectively
• Ability to multi-task is an imperative
• Ability to prioritize and achieve results in a timely manner, have a flexible schedule
• Ability to work both independently and with others at any level
• Willingness and ability to take on new tasks and projects
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.)
