Description

Are there more animals than humans in your household?


Do you spend more time at the grocery store choosing which dog food to buy than what you're going to have for dinner?


Do you tend to leave social gatherings early to go home and let your animals out to potty?


Is your television permanently stuck on Animal Planet?


Do you dress your animals in elaborate holiday outfits and send pictures of them to all your friends?


If you answered yes to any or all of the above, you may suffer from animaluvagoria, a rare condition caused by an unbridled love of animals. There is only one cure for animaluvagoria, volunteering at Indiana's largest animal shelter, Indianapolis Animal Care & Control! Indianapolis Animal Care & Control offers dozens of unique, hands-on volunteer opportunities for people of all ages.

Requirements:
All individuals must be at least 12 years of age; volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the entire time they volunteer at our shelter.
