Description

Indianapolis Animal Care & Control, the state's largest animal shelter, has an exciting opportunity to save animal lives! Each weekend. representatives from Animal Care & Control participate in adoption events at locations such as PetSmart, the Indiana State Fairgrounds and other unique locations!


Volunteers are wanted to work with dogs and cats at these events as well as to field questions about the organization, its mission and how the community can aid in the fight against pet overpopulation!

Requirements:
Volunteers will need to attend the monthly Animal Care & Control volunteer orientation as well as take a course on animal handling. Volunteers must enjoy working with animals and speaking with the public.
