Description
Do you have a few free hours during the week? On-call volunteer drivers needed to provide transportation for seniors and adults with disabilities to their doctor appointments. These trips usually last less than 2 hours and will provide vital assistance to a member or your local community. Many of the individuals we serve have no other form of transportation assistance and would struggle to access or go without medical care if we are not able to assist! Mileage is reimbursed at $ 0.44 per mile.
Must pass a background check and provide 3 references. Volunteer Chore Services (VCS) is a program of Catholic Community Services, providing free transportation and chore assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities. This assistance allows our clients to continue living in their homes for as long as safely possible.
