Description

As an after school tutor you would be expected to help 4th-6th grade students with their homework twice weekly. These particular students are struggling at school and need one-on-one attention to learn better study habits and improve their grades.

The program occurs Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:40-5 pm. Volunteers are asked to oversee a group of 3-5 students during that hour and encourage and help them to get their homework done from school.

Requirements:
The strongest requirement for this position is a desire to help and empower kids.

You will also need to pass a background check if you are over 18 and you will be required to take a Safe From Harm awareness class.
