Description

Study Buddy:

Volunteer Study Buddies are needed for Evergreen and R4 after-school programs. Study Buddies are paired with a small group of students to help them with homework and build a mentoring relationship with them. Study Buddies are asked to commit 2 hours per week for at least 6 months.



Evergreen (1st through 6th grade) is Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:00-5:30.


R4 (7th through 12 grades) is Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-5:30.



Fun Friday Leader:

Volunteers are needed for Fun Fridays at Evergreen (Fridays from 3:00-5:45) to help kids with recreational activities (art, sports, sewing). Workshop leaders who can teach the kids a skill are also needed. Fun Friday Leaders commit 2 hours per week for at least 6 months.

Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must:

Be 18 years of age
Complete an application, be interviewed, and be fingerprinted
Attend a Training session
Commit to volunteering 2 hours per week for 6 months
