Description

Tutors work with adult learners one-on-one or in small groups, teaching 2 hours per week (plus additional time for preparation and travel to tutoring site). Tutors are matched with students according to schedule, availability, location, and tutor preferences. Tutor training and continuing tutor education are provided.

Requirements:
Any adult who can read, write and speak English fluently may become a tutor. No teaching experience or knowledge of a foreign language is necessary. All lessons are conducted in English. Tutors should make a minimum commitment to teach 2 hours per week for one year.
