Please support HOPEHIV by buying this single on iTunes here: tinyurl.com 100% of the profit will be going to HOPEHIV. Find out more about their work at www.hopehiv.org HOPEHIV support children and young people who have been orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa. I visited Zimbabwe in 2011 with my wife, who works for them. Zimbabwe has a higher number of orphans, in proportion to its population, than any other country in the world, with one in four children orphaned by AIDS. The goal of the trip, my first ever to Africa, was for us to get a glimpse into what real life looks like for the young faces and names behind these grim statistics, and to see HOPEHIV's work first hand. I liked the way they work with people from local communities, and are passionate about seeing real change happen, not just talking about it. They aren't interested in a 'quick fix' but in long term transformation and sustainability. I was later asked to put together a slideshow of another trip that HOPEHIV's co-founders made to Zambia in November 2011. My wife suggested I use one of my own songs, 'Be The Miracle', as the backing track. It's all about remembering those that are less fortunate, and asking ourselves the question, "what can you do to be the miracle?" This then prompted me to think we could raise some money for HOPEHIV by selling the single. This video is the result. I hope you are blessed by it.
