Remembering the Life and Legacy of Cesar Chavez

March 31 is Cesar Chavez day-- a day to remember and be inspired by Cesar's commitment to a non-violent struggle for social justice. Remember the slogan, Yes We Can,? Well this man is the leader of the movement which coined the phrase albeit in Spanish, Si Se Puede. Watch this video which gives a brief history of the life and accomplishments of Cesar Chavez. 

March 31st is Chavez's birthday and is recognized as a holiday in eight U.S. states.
