30 Year Anniversary of Oscar Romero's Assasination

Today marks 30 years since Archbishop Oscar Romero was assassinated while performing mass in his home country of El Salvador. Romero became an outspoken voice of peace and justice during a period of extreme political strife and violence. Romero is another member of the great cloud of witnesses who have been faithful to Christ and his call for justice even unto death.
