Violence following Kenya's Dec. 27 elections has killed more than 500, and displaced over 250,000 from their homes. A donation to the World Vision disaster relief fund will help distribute food, water, mosquito nets, blankets, and shelter materials to those who have fled the unrest.

Cyclone Devastates Bangdalesh; World Vision Responds

Cyclone Sidr, a class-4 storm, struck the southeast coast of Bangladesh last Thursday, killing over 3,000 and displacing over 3 million. A $100 gift to World Vision will pay for a Family Survival Kit containing food rations, drinking water, blankets, and clothing.

World AIDS Day is December 1. In preparation for this event, World Vision has put together an online resource kit for campus leaders and others who want to raise awareness of the global AIDS crisis.

World Vision has also begun an online audio series which offers both information on the crisis and suggestions of how we can help. In the first segment, World Vision's Director of Public Policy and Advocacy, Bob Zachritz, shares on why advocacy is important and how to get involved.
