Advice from a Development Novice

I've noticed that there are a lot of foundations, both corporate and private, with deadlines in March and April. I think it has to do with new fiscal years beginning. In any case, if you are considering soliciting funds for your organization this year, you should know that the time to act is now.

Community Stunned by Quincy 4 Verdicts - Press Release

June 23, 2007 A six-person jury delivered its verdict yesterday evening in the case of the "Quincy 4," four Asian Americans charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in an incident involving the Quincy police. Happily Ever After?

tuftsalummagspring07cover

Subject: Letter to the Editor of Tufts Magazine ("Happily Ever After" Spring 2007)

Why I'm Watching Cashmere Mafia

Yes, Cashmere Mafia is pretty trashy, but i'm hopelessly (or hopefully) devoted because:

1) Lucy Liu's character's parents on the show are older Asian Americans with no accents! Asian American actors not forced to fake accents they don't have! This is huge!

2) Lucy Liu's character is not stereotyped in that it is not that different from the other female characters on the show.

AND IT GETS BETTER!

3) One of Ms. Liu's love interests is AN ASIAN AMERICAN MALE (jaw drop) (he also has no accent).

!!! AND MOST OF ALL !!!
