Summary:

ShareFest began as a multi-congregation, multi-denomination event designed to bring the churches of Central Arkansas together in order to share Christ’s love with the community.  Held annually, ShareFest unites congregations through prayer and service.  It is an opportunity for individuals and congregations to share their resources and time to meet deep needs in the community.  In addition to service projects, ShareFest celebrations are also held in which members of the community are invited to join together in a time of praise and thanksgiving.

ShareFest has grown beyond a once a year service event.  It has become a catalyst for connecting churches with their communities.  ShareFest has also grown beyond Central Arkansas to include cities around the United States

ShareFest is a weekend-long event.  Saturday is dedicated to serving in the community.  Service projects such as blood drives, clothing drives, and painting schools and other public buildings are planned.  Sunday is a day of celebration.  Celebrations are hosted by Nehemiah group churches where members of the community come together for praise and thanksgiving.  This is also the time when love offerings are collected to be given to selected non-profit organizations.

Prayer has been the foundation of ShareFest from its conception.  Prayer ideas and a 40-day guide for prayer are two of the many resources available on the ShareFest website.
