Safe Families

TechMission Safe Families Program has released free software to protect children from pornography and other dangers by blocking them from accessing objectionable material on the Internet.

Black pastors across the country are taking a stand on Internet pornography companies that are targeting the Black community by highjacking domain names of Black leaders to use for pornography websites.

Two Boston-based religious groups are cautioning churches and parents about Web sites including two featuring the names of civil rights leaders that may lead unsuspecting children to pornography.

Black clergy in Boston have launched a national effort to alert parents that a pornographic Internet website is using the names of civil rights leaders to draw people to scenes of sexual perversity.

Since Blazing Grace became part of TechMission's Safe Families program in February 2008, all donations to Blazing Grace will support the work of TechMission Safe Families in providing free Internet filtering software, educating both children and adults about the dangers of online pornography, and assisting sex and pornography addicts in their journey toward recovery.
