The Reentry Policy Council is a diverse group of 100 key leaders in local, state and federal government, workforce development and employment services officials, housing providers and housing system officials, representatives of health, mental health and substance abuse treatment systems, victims advocates, ex-offenders and their families, and ministers and faith-based practitioners. The Reentry Policy Council has developed hundreds of policy recommendations aimed at increasing public safety as prisoners return home and reducing recidivism and its costs. This site contains many helpful articles, news about the reentry field, hundreds of policy recommendations contained in the Report of the Reentry Policy Council, and resources for policymakers, practitioners, and advocates.
