My wife got her test results and they weren’t good. We’re now looking at a future surgery on her kidneys and dealing with the big “c” word – as it looks like she has cancer in her right kidney.

The amazing part of yesterday were the hundreds of Twitter responses that I received (plus text messages and phone calls from family, friends and ministers around the country). I saw the Body of Christ acting like the Body of Christ. I know we’re covered in prayer and we move forward with hope and trust in our God who heals.

We still have more tests, doctors and weeks of waiting to make sure we approach everything right. When you think about it – please lift my wife up in prayer. Her name is Chrissy (seen below) and she means the world to me.
Read more http://www.urbanministry.org/emotional-day-0#comments Greg Atkinson Wed, 11 Nov 2009 08:08:25 +0000 UrbanMinistry Bloggers 150753 at http://www.urbanministry.org
