Faith is more than just a belief or an action; it is a spiritual law.
Agreement is another spiritual law.
If we want Kingdom results, we must first agree to live by the laws of the Kingdom. You cannot expect to enforce the laws of the kingdom if you do not first agree to live by those laws.
If we are not getting Kingdom results from our prayers, then the principle of division is at work, and division produces subtraction. (Think about that!) How long will we waver between two opinions? If Baal is God, serve Baal. If God is God, serve God! We must decide to sell out for the kingdom. If we are not sold out, the issue of double-mindedness or "divided loyalties" is at work - hence, the principle of division. Our prayers will lack power! God is calling each of us to make a decision in what we believe, who we trust, and who we we serve.
1) We have divided loyalties which produces double-mindedness. According to James 1, a double minded man receives nothing from the Lord.
2) We are not in agreement with the ones we are praying with. Both God and the devil know when our lips and our hearts are not in agreement. We can be saying one thing with our mouth but by our actions and the inner struggles of our heart, the net result is the production of double-mindedness or wavering convictions.
3) We are not in agreement with God. Now that can be a tough one. Sometimes we spend all our time struggling because we think we're fighting the enemy but we're really fighting against God. Never presume you already know the will of God for any given situation. The principle of faith works against common sense, practicality and reason. The results of our prayers can only be received by faith, which will always contradict the ways of natural man and our carnal thinking. What God may be saying to someone else is not necessarily what God may be saying to you. Do not assume that common sense or a knowledge of scripture automatically tells you what to do. Ask God for clarification. There are times when He will contradict everything you think you know about His word or His principles for the sake of the object lesson He is trying to teach you. The right questions to ask Him are: What process is He taking you through? What is He trying to produce through this process? What is He trying to teach you? What does He want you to do? What is the action or word that will bring the breakthrough?
God will shake everything we put our trust in that is not Him. He does this to settle it in our heart who and what we believe in. If we put our trust in ourselves, we must trust in our own efforts to save us. If we put our trust in the world, then the world is the one we will turn to to save us. Neither is the right answer! God and God alone is our Savior!
When you pray in agreement with God without wavering, and with the conviction of knowing His will, you can confidently declare the word of God into the situation. The enemy’s job is to oppose you; your job is to enforce the laws of the Kingdom of God. The word of God is like a hammer, crushing and breaking down the mountain of resistance that stands opposing you. As long as you are outside the principles of faith and agreement, he can withstand you, but the enemy and that mountain he is using to block you must move when the laws of faith and agreement are working together because faith is a force. The force of applied faith is more powerful than any resistance. Think about it!
Bravo!
Thank you.
