Little Boy's faith uplifts his mother.

One of the Heaventrain staff works 3rd shift. So she usually goes home for a couple of hours to sleep and then meets us at the third stop...this is her story

A Christmas Story

It was over 20 years ago when Robert was looking forward to Christmas. He was the youngest of seven kids and his mom did not have the extra money to spend on Christmas. Even with seven kids there was always something under the tree. The kids new that Santa would always bring at least one gift. This year Robert, age 7, only had one gift that he wanted. Robert asked for the Speed Racer car the Mach five. Christmas morning Robert was the only child in his family that did not get a gift. He remembers watching for days at the door thinking that there had to be some mistake. After a few days of watching, Robert’s mother called him to the side and explained that Robert was different from his brothers and sisters.

All Aboard, Heaventrain is a Church on Wheels in Cleveland Ohio that reaches 1200+ kids each week.

Yeah, Heaventrain," one child yells as she runs to be the first in line for the bus. I  look for the two-year old little girl whose hand is tightly clasped to her four-year old little brother's as they walk across the field toward the bus.

A small child goes up to one of the staff,"Can I have a duck hug?" An unusual question to some but the staff replies, "Small, medium or large," the small voice replies,"Large." The child is then swept off his feet and the staff proceeds to march around in a circle quacking like a duck. Ripples of laughter burst from the small child.

My Dad is my hero, but the Cleveland Browns say he is a hero too.
