To provide positive role models to at risk children, who will benefit from the volunteers time and attention.
Help youth stay out of trouble and in school
Description
We are a Youth Peer Mentoring Program that matches youth volunteers, aged 16-29 in a one-to-one relationship with children, aged 6-15, who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and/or cultural adjustment issues.
Our volunteers are required to spend three hours a week on their own schedule, doing activities such as going to the park, watching TV. playing videos games, reading, tutoring etc.. .
The relationship should last one year.
