Mission Statement

Our Vision is to mobilize the Body of Christ to respond to the critical needs of the poor by helping individuals break the cycle of poverty, addiction, or abuse in their lives. This includes three important steps: introducing individuals to Christ and/or helping them grow in their relationship with Christ while providing tools necessary to gain greater self-sufficiency and independence.

Our Mission is to break poverty’s cycle by addressing the physical, educational, emotional and spiritual needs of “economically disadvantaged” families in Central Ohio.

Description

Our History: Since 1983, Victory Ministries has served as a Christ-Centered Ministry to the needy of Central Ohio for the purpose of bringing critical emergency services to some of our poorest neighborhoods. Tens of thousands have been helped physically, spiritually, and emotionally through the Victory Mission Food Pantry, Free Clothing Store, and Family Assistance Center.

Organizational Statement of Faith

1. To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. To meet the critical needs of the poor, the new poor, and the person suddenly in need of emergency assistance.
3. To engage the Body of Christ in ministry.
4. To promote the networking of churches and ministries for the purpose of encouraging urban ministry, evangelism and unity.
5. To create awareness of the plight of the poor in our area with an emphasis on action through ministry.
