Mission Statement
It is the mission of Tacoma First Nations Gathering to partner with and serve First Nations communities by building relationships that honor culture and promote holistic wellness.
Description
Tacoma First Nations Gathering meets on the first Saturday of the month for a potluck dinner and culturally relevant entertainment. We are a mission field that exposes people to Christ through building life long relationships. We do not focus on religion and by serving the families in our community we encourage them to ask questions to which Jesus is the answer.
We are not interested in notches in our belt or gun slinger salvation but introducing people to a life long relationship with Christ by meeting their needs.
Organizational Statement of Faith
We do not focus on religion but on relationships.
We believe in the Triune Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the virgin birth.
We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross and died for our sins. He arose from the tomb on the third day and ascended into heaven to be seated on the throne.
We believe He will return again for His people.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God our Creator.
Everyone is welcomed to join us. We meet on the first Saturday of every month for dinner, drumming, dancing and fellowship. If you are interested please contact us for more information or simply click on gathering info for details
