Iam Willie Gbaryee, the founder of Grace Evangelical Children Home.This home is a plce where the needs of orphans and widows and the disabled are met.

the actual aim of this organization is to provide home ,comfort ,,education and a sound future for the unfortunate
but due to fanancial dificulties
we are not able to meet all our goals we are therefore appealing for volunteers to come in to the aid of these unfortunate who lost their parents ,husband, homes and abilitie due to the civil war in our country Liberia which has led us to exile today.

OUR MISSION
providing affordable and high quality of education and good home for children in Nkoranza district.
WHO ARE WE
we are registed as a schoool in the Nkoranza district .We are also in the process of registeering as orphanage with the Department of social welfare and as NGO with the registrar gerneral.
Orphantec is non-profit,non -Govemental ,non-denonationally school.
The school of It training is to level (1) to level (3)
we are currently have about 110 student .the youngest is one and half and oldest is 15.The staff of the school include the principal Mr yaw Kwabena,5 teacher's and 3 non-teaching staff .we also have volunteer teacher's from Germany and switzerland and other countries.The board of directer has three menbers,Mr Adu francis is the chaiman of the board and is also the founder of the school. Our mission is to help the disadvantage people among the under-listed categories of people in the Northern Region of Ghana
 Orphans: Our number one core responsibility is help care for orphans and abandoned infants.
 Homeless children: children lacking the basic amenities of life, who do not attend school or learn a trade and have no home
 Elderly: Physically feeble persons 70+ who have it difficult to make earns meet.

VOLUNTEERING WORK

Solace volunteering is on of the few agency that satisfy their voluntaries in terms of providing them with the right project they asked for and accommodation. Solace helpt it voluntaries to enter its country easily.

You must be 18 years of age to enable you participate in our Volunteering program.

There are have five project under which you can work.

Work places

• Orphanages or Children’s Home
• Kindergarten
• Hospitals
• Helping the Aged in the communities
• Schools

Accommodation

Accommodation
• Your own shared bedroom with woordrops
• Breakfast and supper or three meals (on request)

Solace-Ghana provides two different types of accommodation. Living with a host family, staying in a guesthouse or apartment. Usually participants of the programs are able to choose where they would like to stay but sometimes the nature of a project only permits a specific type of accommodation. Solace-Ghana recommends living in a host family or in a traditional house since that is the best way to get to know the local culture and the people.

Our Mission
Our Mission is to intervene and fight the growing trend of HIV/AIDS by specifically targeting children and their families in poverty-stricken homes and to support the Orphan child. We believe that a decline in the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and the resulting economic impact can be achieved through grass roots level community outreach programs.

1.To assist less privilaged individuals and deprived communities in ghana and africa as a whole as well as helping achieve united nation's millennium development objectives which is poverty alleviation, increasing access to education, health, promotion of peace and in improvement in information technology through volunteering.
