Harambee is a center for community development located at 316 S. 3rd St in downtown Renton. Our name comes from the Swahili word that means "together pushing forward," which in many African cultures is a rally cry: LetÂ’s come together to accomplish something great for the community, and embodies our vision of being a diverse community working together for the betterment of the community by loving and serving the city and its people.

We exist to provide a holistic approach to community development in Renton and South King County by providing a “3rd Place*" community gathering for the continued physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development (mind, body & soul) of youth and their families

Cinderella's Trunk builds self esteem in our area teens by providing them the opportunity to attend a milestone event such as homecoming and prom regardless of their financial abilities.

Lutheran Peace Fellowship (LPF) is a community of Lutherans across the U.S. and around the globe, responding to the gospel call to be peacemakers and justice seekers. Based in Seattle since 1994, LPF offers a wide range of expertise, support, and resources for youth and adults.

We are dedicated to ensuring that every child whop wants an adult mentor is given one.

We believe that as followers of Christ, we are able to implement his love towards others, and remembering the patience Christ has showed us. We believe in providing a sense of comfort, and safety for children while visiting with their parents. We believe that we can make a difference. We also believe that visits are the rights of the families we serve, when it is in the best interest of the child.

The Mission of The Salvation Army Eastside Corps is the spiritual regeneration of all people through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sierra Club Inner City Outings (ICO) is a community outreach program providing opportunities for urban youth and adults to explore, enjoy and protect the natural world.
ICO volunteers work through partnerships with selected elementary, middle, and high schools and agencies serving youth in the Seattle area. Our youth range in age from 8 to 20, and represent diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. ICO provides food, transportation and leaders trained in first-aid, CPR, environmental education and youth leadership.

Seattle's ICO program is in constant need of energetic new volunteers to drive Seattle youth to get active. One hundred volunteers give their time, sweat, and brilliance, to provide exciting learning and exploring opportunities for the youth. ICO stays successful by continuing to attract interested people with an active concern for our community's future.
