Mission Statement

Orphanages for Africa-Canada (OFA-Canada) is dedicated to glorifying God and proving to the world that there is a personal God who hears and answers prayer. OFA -Canada is a Christian humanitarian and development organization committed to meeting the basic needs of millions of orphaned and abandoned children across the African continent, therefore releasing them into their full potential and divine destiny.

Description

OFA-Canada has seven partners in four African nations: Kenya, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia. The ministry provides micro-enterprise grants for development assistance to enable our partners to care for the orphans in their ministries.

OFA-Canada additionally has a child sponsorship program and a gift program.

OFA-Canada's ministry is based upon the work of George Mueller who cared for orphans in the 19th century through prayer and faith alone without fund raising.
