Mission Statement

“ To support and advocate for the needs and rights of children who are affected by natural and man-made catastrophes in Uganda. Joy for Children strives to increase the resources available to implement and strengthen the capacity of families and communities to care for children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS, poverty and conflict.”

Description

Joy for Children is a Christian non-profit making NGO found in Uganda. It was established in 2006 under the NGOs Act of 1989 of the Republic of Uganda, registration No S. 5914/6687. We are dedicated to finding and providing opportunities and hope for children who are victims of poverty, HIV/AIDS, malaria and other man-made and natural calamities in Uganda.
Joy for Children has outreach programs in both primary and secondary school as well as the local communities around us.
We strive to have a community where children are protected to the best way possible and where every child is given the best chance to grow to be who they want to be.
