Our Mission:
Hope for Youth Alliance exists to heal and transform the lives of youth through transformational mentoring relationships.

Our Vision:
To build mentoring relationships with 300 at-risk youth by 2010.
Our vision is to strengthen caring adults to have meaningful mentoring relationships with children and youth in Northern New Mexico. Hope for Youth Alliance Mentoring is lifestyle based, develops long-lasting, trusting, and positive relationships that give youth hope, and purpose. HYA intervenes in the life of youth to help them make better and wiser decisions academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our goal is to have 300 at-risk youth in mentor relationships by 2010.

Description

A Christian Mentoring Organization for at-risk youth age 9-19

Organizational Statement of Faith

Christ Centered HYA Mentors are committed to and promote the Lordship of Christ. Our Mentors expose hurting children and youth to consider God?s role and purpose for their life in a non coercive way. Research studies have shown that helping youth find faith increases purpose and meaning in the lives of delinquent youth, reducing recidivism rates from a continued life of crime, and juvenile delinquency.
