Mission Statement

In partnership with residents, tenants and caregivers, we provide a safe, caring community based on traditional Christian values for seniors, providing a continuum of care to meet their needs while recognizing their individuality and dignity.

Description

We believe that individuals requiring our services have the right to a lifestyle that adequately meets their physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs. These services will be provided by fully qualified professional staff who will deliver care using a holistic approach to provide quality care and quality of life to individuals. We enhance our services by providing resources to promote, coordinate and provide extensive volunteer opportunities which gives support to a sense of community and enriches the lives of those serving and being served.
Comprehensive care services will include nursing care, medical care, social and recreational activities and pastoral care.

Organizational Statement of Faith

The Charter of Holland Christian Homes states that the aim of the corporation includes the health and welfare of the aged, particularly (but not exclusively) of those Christians who are of Dutch origin and who hold dear to the following principles:
a) That the Holy Bible is the inspired, written Word of God and our final authority.
b) That there is only one Creator God, existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
c) That Jesus Christ came into this world to pay for our sins to reconcile us with God, the Father.
d) That Jesus Christ is Lord over all life and guides us through the Holy Spirit.
