Mission Statement

Empowering men, women, youths and the disadvantaged with the tools necessary to help them improve the quality to their lives: which is inspired by God to build a just world where we live. We challenged injustices by strengthening poor with oppressed people and by stimulating the Cameroonian Public to share in common struggle for human dignity. Because the world in which all people is living especially the poor and the oppressed have the opportunity to live a life to its fullness.

Description

GMM is out to carry out the main objectives listed below. The main objectives of GMM are :
1. To identity the disadvantaged and the less privillaged in Communities and seeking possible ways to help them.
2. Provide educational programmes for youths that will gives them opportunities for a meaniful life.
3. Empower women to be self reliant.
4. Community leadership trainings.
5. To examine all the underlying realities in communities which encour age poverty, ignorance and top work and address those realities in a way which can help build and restore a healthy safe community.
6. To give moral and spiritual guidance to the community in general and especially to those living with HIV/AIDS
7. To join and cooperate with other health providersÂ’ and other sectors (multisectorial approach) in a collective action to end all kinds of discrimination and structural injustice (especially against women) which put people at risk

Organizational Statement of Faith

Goodness And Mercy Missions is committed to the biblical doctrines of the Christian faith held throughout the centuries by Bible believing Christians; the infallibility of all the Scriptures as originally given by inspiration of God and perfectly preserved in the Authorized King James Version as the sole and final authority on all matters of faith, life and every area it touches; the unity of God in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the direct creation and fall of man as opposed to evolution; the Deity, virgin birth, sinlessness, vicarious death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; the total depravity of man; his absolute need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit; the all-sufficiency of ChristÂ’s death for our salvation which is received by faith alone; the eternal security and the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit in every believer today; the true Church as ChristÂ’s body and bride; the local church as His agency for spiritual edification and evangelism; the personal imminent, pre-millennial, pre-tribulational rapture of the Church, and the return of Christ in glory and power; and a literal eternal heaven and hell.
