Mission Statement

The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss is committed to providing hard-of-hearing and deaf infants and children around the world with the technological and educational resources they need to develop essential language and communication skills, thereby empowering them to achieve their fullest potential as independent, contributing members of society. The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss is 501c(3) nonprofit charitable organization.

Description

The Global Foundation achieves its charitable purpose through programs that:
• offer teacher training and mentorships
• provide access to sound technology
• support framework development for deaf education programs and resources
• promote awareness of language, cultural issues facing deaf and hard-of-hearing children
• support research efforts to advance practices in deaf education.
