Mission Statement

To glorify God by participating in His Kingdom work:
1) expressing Christ's love through practical actions that address physical needs
2)bringing the church and those with resources into contact with those in need
3)proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel of Christ

Description

Gather and Give provides three main services
1) home essentials to low income individuals and families who are moving into a new home.
2) essential goods for non-profit agencies working with those in need
3) a volunteer program for persons with barriers to employment

Organizational Statement of Faith

We believe in the triune God; One God who is Three Persons. We believe in God the Father almighty, creator of all things. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Begotten Son, Our Lord. We believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary, that he lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for our sins by dying on the cross. We believe He died, was buried, and on the third day rose again. We believe He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator. We believe He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit; our counselor, comforter and enlightener. He indwells each believer, guiding, transforming, equipping, and empowering us for godly living and service. We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, timeless and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We believe in the forgiveness of sins through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the resurrection of believers and the universal and apostolic church.
