Mission Statement
Our mission is making a difference in the lives of fellow human beings by providing support to the needy community.The organization is founded to sensitize the Ghanaian people,especially those in the rural areas of Ghana,to the threat of the HIV/AIDS virus and to make them critically but positively aware of the apocalyptic potential it presents in the immediate future.Educating the rural folks and supporting them with employment opportunities.As an organization, we cannot achieve this unless we join hands with every willing person or organisations. This is our driving force. We want to affect lives of people in a positive way!
Description
Dream Africa Volunteer Service, is a Non Government, "not for profit" Registered Community Based Organization(CBO) which aims to find volunteer placements and provide support for individual volunteers in our country.DAVS Ghana has been established to give people from around the world the opportunity to work on community initiated projects in communities in deprived areas of Ghana. The projects include orphanages, HIV/AIDS projects,Information Technology, child education,cultural immersion,Women Empowerment and many more. These projects also benefit from contributions given by these volunteers. We identify the needy projects and send in the help that we receive from volunteers, donors and well wishers.
Organizational Statement of Faith
We beleive that,before a person can receive the gospel of God,his status in society such as its environment,living standard and other basic needs must be supported to enable him or her to grow fully in the Lord.
