Mission Statement

The mission of Camp Coolamatong is to provide an exciting and safe camping experience that equips, inspires, and nurtures students through school camping programs that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual group - and through this experience, demonstrate the hope of the Christian faith.

Description

Camp Coolamatong?s Internships empower young adults to grasp, utilise and enlarge their God given gifts, talents and interests as they are immersed in Christian ministry. All internship positions incorporate Christian discipleship, leadership training, personal development and building life changing friendships with other interns. The supportive community of Camp Coolamatong is incredibly powerful in unlocking and releasing young people to know and live out God?s plan for their lives.

Organizational Statement of Faith

We believe in the trinity of the Godhead, the Father, son and Holy Spirit. We believe that there is one way by which man may receive eternal life and that is through accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We believe the Holy Spirit lives within us to empower us to know, love and serve our God with authority and power. We believe that God's eternal plan is that all men may have the opportunity to hear and receive His salvation and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We believe we are called to take the profound reality of the gospel and share it with young lives through relational ministry within a school camping environment.
