Calvary Casa United Methodist Church is a multicultural church that seeks to transform lives as we proclaim the gospel of Christ through service, preaching, teaching, and the worshiping arts.

Description

Calvary Casa United Methodist Church was established in 1902 and has a long history of serving the Columbia Heights community. Active in both the civil rights movement and the latino civil rights movement, Calvary Casa has repeatedly reached out to transform the lives of the downtrodden.

Our vision is to utilize the our building as a community development center. We currently are sponsoring an after school safe haven program, a gang rehabilitation program, and a theater and arts program.
