Our mission is “To love, listen and lead children affected by HIV AIDS to live life positively and be kids of hope and courage in their community”

Description

Buds of Christ is an organisation formed for and to serve children affected by HIV AIDS with love and compassion with the following key objectives;

1. To improve access to services on prevention, treatment, care and support for children and their parents affected by HIV and AIDS
2. To economic empowerment of children living with and affected by HIV and AIDS and their family members
3. To work towards social security and protection of children rights in areas of education, health, community, domestic, legal spheres and in all settings
4. To build an active group of empowered children representing different states from rural, urban and tribal areas in the process of children involvement and participation
5. To build a collective voices of grandmothers and grandfathers in caring and supporting children completely orphaned by HIV and AIDS
6. To provide and advocate for enhanced quality of prevention, care, support and treatment services for children and their families affected by HIV and AIDS
7. To network with various government and non-government organizations in promoting child participation and to improve quality and quantity of programs related to children and HIV
