Mission Statement

Breakthrough Urban Ministries demonstrates the compassion of Christ by providing neighborhood-based holistic services that empower individuals, families and urban communities to overcome poverty, addiction and isolation.

Description

Breakthrough's Men's Services Program provides support for homeless, unemployed men over the age of 22. Programming focuses on both emergency and long-term needs and is designed to help men break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

Breakthrough's Women's Services Program provides support for women in crisis. Programming focuses on both emergency and long-term needs and is designed to help women break the cycle of homelessness, abandonment, addictions, domestic violence and abuse.

Breakthrough's Youth and Family Services Program creates a safe environment that encourages personal development and school completion for neighborhood youth. The Program also connects
families and community members with opportunities for advancement.
