We believe that our service earns hearing for the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ, and we are looking forward to the future as we continue to serve Christ by serving the people of West Africa.

Description

Baptist Medical Centre is a respected mission hospital located in the Northern Region of Ghana. It was founded through the joint efforts and vision of the Ghanaian Baptist Convention and the International Mission Board in 1958.

BMC is a 123 bed hospital whose reputation brings people from as far south as Accra, as far east as Togo and Nigeria, and as far north as Burkina Faso and Mali. Most recent yearly statistics are as follows: 60,000 outpatients visits, 10,000 inpatients, 1,000-1,200 major operations, and 2,500-3,000 minor procedures.

Organizational Statement of Faith

Your prayers are greatly needed by not only the patients but the staff at BMC. Pray for both physical and spiritual healing for those at BMC right now. All of the staff, full time missionaries, and volunteers work long hours. Pray that the Lord will give them rest and strength.

Pray for the Mamprusi people and that through the hospitals ministry they will come to know Christ, the Great Physisian.

Pray for safe travel of all our volunteers and good health while they are serving. Pray that they will be helpful to the hospital's ministry and will be changed for the better through their experiences.

Finally, pray that several full time ministry openings will be met and that the Holy Spirit will move individuals to answer God's call.
