Race, Class, Gender, Faith & Nonprofit Funding Bias

This presentation examines funding biases of nonprofits across race, class, gender and faith. Research shows that while 52.4% of those in poverty in the USA are people of color, only 16.5% of nonprofits are led by people of color, and only 3% of foundation funding goes toward organizations that are led by people of color. TechMission Corps Wiki

All TechMission Corps members are required to present a project at the end of their term of service, which AmeriCorps requirements call a "replicable project." This project represents the culmination of the member's term of service in the community, outlining what the member has done so that the next person to serve can build upon what has already been developed.

Look in this section of the wiki to find field-tested curricula and program resources, as well as best practices for running after-school programs, teen programs, and adult education (ESL) programs.
