OPEN, Inc. has developed educational materials aimed at helping prisoners and ex-prisoners to avoid returning to prison by adopting and maintaining healthy lifestyles.  Its publications address initial orientation to prison, overcoming addictions, preparation for reentry, and preparation for and obtaining employment.  Ned Rollo, OPEN, Inc.’s executive director, provides training and consulting services to organizations and agencies involved in working with prisoners and ex-prisoners.

OPEN, Inc. provides helpful publications for prisoners aimed at helping them move beyond the behaviors that resulted in their imprisonment.  These resources could be used by organizations providing reentry services as part of their curriculum.  In addition, this site includes OPEN, Inc.’s free newsletter and online articles addressing a variety of issues relevant to organizations ministering to prisoners and ex-prisoners.
