Mission Statement
To reach out to the least, the last and the lost with the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Description
The New Orleans Mission is a Judeo/Christian-based homeless shelter that provides spiritual guidance and free shelter, meals, food, clothing and showers for men and women. The mission also offers free legal and medical services and operates a free education and employment center.
Main services include emergency, over-night shelter for homeless men, an four-month, transitional housing program for single women, a one-year structured rehabilitation program for men and an four-month, transitional housing program for parents and children.
Organizational Statement of Faith
We believe that salvation is by grace, and cannot be earned, and that following a verbal confession of such faith in Messiah, we are filled with the Holy Spirit and become members of the commonwealth of Israel through whom all promised blessings will be fulfilled.
We further believe that having been filled by the Spirit as a result of salvation by faith, we then have a duty to keep all of God's commandments as defined in the Holy Scriptures.
