Description
Gilead Foundations Charity is a Christian Residential Rehabilitation centre/community, based on A farm in Devon, which offers up to a 60 week rehabilitation programme for male & female people with addictions (such as drugs & Alcohol) & related problems.
Gilead believes in the extended family structure and community to provide a stable recovery environment.
We need house-parents to manage a group of approx 8 clients in our newly built accommodation (see our website) and single support workers to work alongside them. House-parents should be preferably mature couples who have raised their own children. These are live-in, all expenses paid, with a community vehicle supplied, positions. Community members also receive weekly cash allowances for personal spending.
Requirements
Caring, pastoral characters required. Counselor training provided with these positions. Please note we work with male, female and families. There are male houses and female houses on site, but we meet together for community meals and activities.
