Description

Over 3000 national and international service projects available each year in Asia, Africa, Central & South America, Australia, and Europe. Most projects are for 2-3 weeks and are very affordable!

Requirements

No special skills required for most projects. The one big requirement is that volunteers be motivated! Some projects require background checks & references.

Projects are available all year, but the bulk of the projects take place between June-September, especially in developed countries.

This cost includes:


Most projects in developed countries cost $330 and includes food, accomodation & work materials (excluding air & ground transportation). In developing countries, there is an additional fee payable upon arrival that varies from $100 to $300 depending on the organization that you are working with. VFP will refund $50 for a project report/photos whenever a volunteer has to pay an additional fee upon arrival. We try to make participation as affordable and inclusive as possible.
